Senior Nursery

Wow! I haven't blogged in such a long time. This is officially my most pitiful year in terms of blogging =D

We've been so busy with moving in to our new condo and adjusting with everything that I just haven't found time to write about anything. Well, I'm happy to report a few things:

1. Our move was completely smooth and seamless. Dan and I managed to move all our things and clean the entire place just by ourselves. Talk about teamwork huh? The place is exactly how I want it to be but we just need to add a few more decorations to make it more homey. Right now, it still has that 'staycation' vibe going on.

2. Zoe is moving on to Senior Nursery! I was informed that she will be under Teacher Gale and Teacher Jojie this year. Zoe's so excited to be back in school especially since we never really had the chance to go out of town this summer (bummer).

3. I went up to Baguio recently with our company's recruitment team and it was m y first time to be back in Baguio since I was 7. yes, it sounds pretty pathetic but I had so much fun even though I was quite sad that my husband and daughter couldn't come with me.

4. And yeah, I got promoted last March :)

Looking forward to more posts this second half of the year.

Zoe's Moving Up Day

Home Sweet Home

Last April 6, we finally moved in to our condo. It's been almost a month since we did and though we're still in the adjustment status, I can say that this small space really feels like home to us now :)

The Amazing Christmas House in Filinvest

We've heard about this Christmas house in Mark street Filinvest which is literally covered in Christmas lights and displays. We visited it on the 30th and we were awed by how much work was put into this house. Though, I can only imagine how much their Meralco bill is. The family who owns the house opens it to the public from 6pm-10pm.

Hi 5 House Hits 2014

One of our Christmas gifts for Zoe this year is the Hi 5 House Hits concert. We weren't sure whether to have her watch the show this year since the ticket prices have gone up significantly presumably because of the venue. However, we decided to let her watch it but instead of getting three tickets, we just got two.

The venue this year is at Newport Performing Arts Theater. We got there quite early as we were scared of the carmageddon due to the holiday rush. As a result, we got there at 9am with the show starting at 11am :P

I liked how organized this year's show was compared to the chaos last year at SM Aura. Because of the disorganized system last year, Zoe got stressed out because of the crowd and got a fever towards the end of the show. At the Newport theater, they allowed people to come in as soon as they opened at 10 as opposed to pooling everyone until just before the show starts.

Here are some photos.

Our condo unit was finally turned over to us in November. We did a site visit and brought along Philipp Santor of Fraz Works who will do the fit out of the wood works. He had to take measurements in order to give us a quote. Fast forward to two weeks after, the paint job is already done and the first half of the wood works are about to get delivered. Here are some photos of the newly painted unit.

Our target move in date is end of February. There are currently some construction on going for the swimming pool and pavillion which are directly in front of our building. The PMO said it will be finished by first quarter next year.
